Pomona, California (February 22, 2016) - Brittany Force put her Monster Energy Top Fuel Dragster in the No. 6 qualifying position at the end of the day Saturday with an impressive 3.744 ET at 320.66 mph. She took home three additional bonus points for being the quickest of Q1.

Force lined up against J.R. Todd on race day. The pair have each won twice against the other in prior events and they have each won a first round race against each other in the past. Force was edged off the starting line by Todd and her quicker elapsed time of 3.756 seconds, which was third quickest of the session, was bested by the combination of Todd’s reaction time and his 3.766 second pass for a margin of defeat of .019 seconds. Force was reeling him, but she ran out of race track.

Over the course of the weekend the Monster Top Fuel dragster was one of the most consistent dragsters on the property posting times of 3.794, 3.753, 3.800, and 3.744 in qualifying. Her average elapsed time of 3.769seconds easily puts her near the top of the category for the weekend.
