Las Vegas, Nevada (April 6, 2016) - Brittany Force started the weekend at the NHRA press conference talking to media about her breakthrough win at the last event in Gainesville.
She qualified her Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster in the No. 4 position at Las Vegas, receiving one additional bonus point in qualifying for being the third-quickest of Q3. She raced Terry McMillen in the opening round and turned on the win light before falling to Troy Buff in the second round. Her car put two cylinders out at the hit and she wasn’t able to chase him down.
She still holds a lengthy points lead on the competition for the second race in a row.
