Phoenix, Arizona (March 2, 2016) - Robert Hight qualified in the No. 4 position behind teammates John and Courtney Force, with a 3.945 second pass at 317.87 mph. He picked up three additional bonus points being the quickest car in Q3.

On race day, his 3.905 second pass at 327.11 mph set both ends of the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park record book. He dismissed Cruz Pedregon and Del Worsham, and prepared for a semi-final against Tim Wilkerson.

Hight watched Courtney Force drive into immediate tire smoke before his similarly tuned Camaro also went up in smoke against Wilkerson.
