Lucas Oil has been named the title sponsor of the inaugural JuniorMotoX, which will take place at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma on May 12-14, 2016. The new event will showcase youth racers as the maximum age is 18 and it will be limited to 250cc and under motorcycles. Going forward, the event will be named the Lucas Oil JuniorMotoX.

Lucas Oil Speedway received one of short-track racing's most prestigious awards this week for its signature Late Model event.
Robert Hight qualified in the No. 3 position at the Winternationals with a 3.913 second pass at 322.04 mph. He gained four bonus points throughout qualifying and matched up with Tommy Johnson Jr. in the opening round of eliminations on Sunday.
John Force qualified his PEAK Antifreeze Chevrolet Camaro SS in the No. 9 position with a 3.964 second pass at 322.34 mph and picked up two bonus points for being second-quickest of the third qualifying session.
