Gainesville, Florida (March 22, 2016) - John Force didn’t have his best weekend at the Gatornationals, but did see two of his family members and teammates make history by getting both wins for JFR on race day.

Force started the weekend by qualifying in the No. 9 position with a 3.996 ET at 299.20 mph.

He got one bonus point for making the third-quickest pass in the third qualifying session. On race day, he beat Del Worsham before redlighting against Jack Beckman on his way to the semi finals. It was Force’s 25th career red-light in 1,762 elimination rounds. His last red-light came at the 2014 Spring Nationals in Houston.
